Racing Series event March 25 - 27 2011
The Division 7 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is always one of the hardest races to even
qualify at on the Division 7 tour. Mark Woznichak in his Direct Transport / Water One
Chevy Camaro Top Alcohol Funny Car was the picture of consistency during qualifying,
running a 5.72, 5.71 & 5.72 all at over 250 mph. His 5.71 put him in the #7 position for
Sundays Final Eliminations.
In the first round against Alexis De Joria's Patron sponsored Chevy Monte Carlo, Mark
stepped it up a bit running a 5.709 at 250 mph to take the win when Alexis shook & spun
and had to lift.
The Semi Final round put Mark up against John Lombardo's Napa Auto Parts Chevy Monte
Carlo. Mark lost lane choice by .02 second and was put in the left lane. Mark was running
with John until he started to shake the tire and eventually had to lift, losing with a 6.18 to
Lombardo's 5.75
qualify at on the Division 7 tour. Mark Woznichak in his Direct Transport / Water One

3:46 p.m. Top Ten Division Seven Funny Cars this time.
How about a new #1 and #2 qualifiers. The Woz was away first and got to the finish line first on a clean pass,
but Gasparrelli was right behind him and jump right up to the new top spot on the ladder. Over five MPH
faster than Woznichak too.

Gasparrelli leaves first and runs well to move back up into the #3 spot, passing Gordon.
Woznichak makes a small improvement in his ET and MPH on a clean pass to stay #6. Consistent!
