The Rancho Framing / White Cap Camaro Top Alcohol Funny Car ran consistently fast all weekend. We were
the 3rd fastest car in the 1rst qualifying session, the 2nd fastest in the 2nd session, the 1st in the last
session, and the 2nd fastest in the First round. Unfortunately we got beat in the first round on a hole shot
by John Weaver in the Meer Capitol Partners Car. When Mark was staging the car the staged light started
to flicker so he went in deeper, and when the starter activated the tree Mark wasn’t ready resulting in a
slower reaction time. Here are the results from Drag Race Central:

Left Lane: Sean Bellemeur Runs 6.048/245.83, Now #3
Right Lane: Mark Woznichak Runs 5.709/253.37, Now #1
Bellemeur looked quicker for a while as he left significantly before The WOZ, but he was passed before mid-
track. We have a new #1 qualifier!
Notes from round 2 qualifying in Top Alcohol Funny Car:
Left Lane: Mark Woznichak Runs 5.747/250.76, Now #3; Best prior run: 5.709/253.37, Was #3
Right Lane: Larry Miner Runs 9.661/99.54, Now #5; Best prior run: 5.774/254.09, Was #5
Miner leavers hard and moves towards the guardrail after shaking the tires. No problems for Woznichak
with another good run in the left lane, but no improvement.

Both cars run side by side until near the 1000 foot mark, where Miner has his hands full of loose race car
and has to lift. No drama for The Woz and he will stay #3 for now.
